Microsoft has urged people to update the older version of their Windows 10 PC till 11th May. The older version includes three versions of Windows 10, i.e, Windows 10 April 2018, October 2018, and the November 2019 update. After 11 May, all three versions of Microsoft will be discontinued permanently, so users don’t have any other option rather than updating, and now they have less than a month. The new feature supports the existing tools like Windows Snipping Tool, XBOX, Notepad, Windows Terminal, Windows 10 Start Menu, Windows Subsystem for Linux.
Now, Microsoft has provided a deadline for users to update their Windows 10 version from earlier to new. In the latest version of Windows 10, users will get a set of more updates. Users who are still running the above versions of the Windows 10 need to update their software Pronto to get more updates. There will be some new updates for the users, and the overall usage experience of Windows 10 will remain constant. But the company has released some updates related to security purposes. The real motive behind this move taken by Microsoft is to provide excellent security features to users.
Microsoft regularly pushed for some software updates every time. It will also help Microsoft to get higher adoption of its younger generation of Windows 10 versions, and will also help Microsoft lower the Windows 10 ecosystem division or help the company better manage its software updates and services. If there is less division ecosystem of devices, it will allow Microsoft to look into their resources towards a lesser version of software. It will help in quality monitoring in cyber security and general maintenance. Now, Microsoft is expecting to release its new update, Windows 10 21H1, in May with some security features. It will be Microsoft’s first update in 2021. The bigger update is expected to come at the end of 2021.
